Medical education for MD/PA/NP students

Aurora BayCare is an integrated health system.  Our award-winning hospital, physicians, and large network of community clinics are all working together to enhance care for the residents of Northeast Wisconsin. We partner with UW School of Medicine and Public Health to train and shape our country’s future doctors, inspiring promising students to lead and transform medicine.

When you join the team at Aurora BayCare, you join a team of caregivers.  Every one of our employees, from physicians to facilities professionals, is focused on how their work contributes to excellence in patient care.

As a medical student here, you will join our team as a caregiver colleague. You will be given the tools and information you need to succeed in a clinical environment that fosters collaborative learning.

Located in Green Bay, we offer an urban environment with immediate proximity to rural communities and the great north woods.  Our students have the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of patients from a range of socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.

Our hospital campus is located just minutes from the Bay of Green Bay, with easy access to recreational activities like fishing, boating, and kayaking on Lake Michigan and the Fox River.  An extensive trail system links our communities and provides safe, scenic routes for runners and cycling enthusiasts alike.

We thrive on winter recreation, but come summer you’ll find an outdoor concert almost every night of the week and plenty of cafes with sidewalk seating.  Our city is rich with cultural entertainment including ethnic restaurants, indie music, major concert tours, and the state’s 2nd largest farmers market.  And, of course, Green Bay is also home to America’s team, the Green Bay Packers.

Aurora BayCare offers a wealth of educational opportunities in a “small city” that welcomes any professional looking for a “big life.”
