The focus of Aurora BayCare Medical Center's level lll neonatal intensive care unit is to provide a safe beginning for a tiny life not quite ready to face the world. Our specialized team provides comprehensive health care services for newborns with special health issues.

Aurora BayCare Medical Center's on-site neonatal intensive care unit offers 24-hour in-house coverage by our experienced team of board-certified, fellowship-trained neonatologists complemented by a team of neonatal nurse practitioners, newborn care nurses and registered respiratory therapists backed by the latest critical care technology.

In addition to the care from our neonatal team, our facility provides subspecialty care to a newborn in need of general surgery, neurosurgery and ophthalmology, as well as pediatric echocardiography and other treatment options.
