Aurora BayCare Medical Center's Maternal-Fetal Medicine program provides care for pregnant women who are considered to be at risk for or have medical conditions such as:

  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Multiple births
  • Advanced maternal age
  • And other conditions

Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists work closely with the expectant mother and her primary obstetrician providing the best possible care throughout even the most difficult pregnancy. Women with high-risk pregnancies also have access to additional services at Aurora BayCare Medical Center including genetic and nutritional counseling.

Aurora BayCare Medical Center also offers the security of having a level lll neonatal intensive care unit with 24-hour in-house coverage by our experienced team of board-certified, fellowship-trained neonatologists complemented by a team of neonatal nurse practitioners, newborn care nurses and registered respiratory therapists.
