Cardiovascular
Aurora BayCare Medical Center’s Cardiovascular Services is a comprehensive,
coordinated approach to providing the best possible care to patients with
disorders of the heart, lungs and vascular system.
An experienced team of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, interventional
radiologists, and cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons lead our programs that
provide quality managed patient care.
Technology
Aurora BayCare Medical Center offers patients the latest in diagnostic and
interventional imaging services using sophisticated technologies to determine
the type and severity of a patient’s condition.
Surgical procedures
The cardiovascular surgery program at Aurora BayCare Medical Center offers a
complete spectrum of care for cardiac, vascular and thoracic conditions. Our
surgeons explore all possible treatment options – from non-surgical or minimally
invasive procedures to extensive technical procedures.
Cardiac rehabilitation
Our rehabilitation program incorporates personalized exercise training,
education, counseling, heart-healthy diets, smoking cessation and stress and

Neuroscience
Aurora BayCare Medical Center’s NeuroCare Brain and Spine Center™ is a physical,
cognitive, and emotional connection for people who have conditions or diseases
that affect the brain, spine or nerves.
 Trauma
Aurora BayCare Medical Center (ABMC) is verified by the American College of
Surgeons as a Level II trauma center and is supported by the area’s only group
of all board-certified neurosurgeons, with over 30 years of experience treating
head and spinal injuries and an inpatient rehabilitation program designed to
foster a successful return to family, home and community.
Brain
Certified by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center, NeuroCare has
achieved success in improving outcomes in stroke care. ABMC offers a full
continuum of services throughout the healing process from trauma and inpatient
care to rehabilitation and outpatient services to help people get back to their
lives.
Spine, back and neck pain
ABMC specializes in the comprehensive treatment of disorders and diseases of the
cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, including musculoskeletal problems, disc
problems and degenerative conditions, fractures and tumors.
The NeuroCare Brain and Spine Center™ offers leading-edge interventional pain
management techniques and medical management tailored to each patient. We take a
holistic approach to healing by looking at the patient as a whole and focusing
on the body, mind and spirit.

Orthopedics
Orthopedic Services at Aurora BayCare Medical Center’s (ABMC) is comprised of an
integrated orthopedic team of specialists in trauma, foot, hand, shoulder,
elbow, and sports medicine in collaboration with pain management and
rehabilitation services — ensuring patients the best possible outcome.
Inpatient and outpatient surgery
ABMC’s orthopedic surgeons offer minimally invasive procedures when possible to
reduce pain and recovery times.
Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation
The Inpatient Rehabilitation program combines traditional therapy equipment with
our innovative Planetree Boulevard concept – a life-like, controlled setting
developed to assist patients in maximizing their independence utilizing real
life challenges. Patients have time to relearn old skills and new skills so that
they may overcome problems they might face in the community after discharge.
Pain management
ABMC’s orthopedics services integrate interventional pain management techniques
and medical management tailored to each individual patient’s needs. Our holistic
approach focuses on the patient as a whole – mind, body and spirit.
Sports Mmedicine and performance enhancement
ABMC offers active individuals and athletes access to seamless care that
promotes health and injury prevention. The Athletic Republic Sports Training
program is an internationally acclaimed, athletic performance and injury
prevention program.

Women’s Health
The Women’s Center at Aurora BayCare Medical Center’s (ABMC) is dedicated to the
total health and well-being of women at every stage of life and is tailored to
the unique needs of each woman we see.
High-risk pregnancies and NICU
Fortunately, not everyone needs the highest level of neonatal care, But it’s
nice to know we have it right here at ABMC if the need arises. The
maternal-fetal medicine team carefully monitors each high-risk pregnancy. Every
precaution is taken to help deliver a healthy baby.
Incontinence and pelvic floor disorders
Proven treatment options are offered to empower women to regain the confidence
they need to live an active lifestyle.
Obstetrics and gynecology
From a mother experiencing childbirth for the first time to women learning about
the importance of health screenings while entering their mature years, our
extensive team of experienced, board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists
help women maintain good health and overcome health obstacles.
Breast health
Aurora’s Breast Center, with the area’s only fellowship-trained breast surgeon,
is dedicated to providing women with the latest diagnostic techniques available
to detect breast cancer in the earliest stages. Our breast care team provides
support through every step of breast cancer, including diagnosis and treatment.
Fertility services
Aurora’s Fertility Services within the Women’s Center at ABMC is a place that is
changing many couples into parents. With the latest technology and a dedicated,
experienced staff, the clinic’s high success rate continues to exceed the
national average. The clinic offers the latest techniques including blastocyst
transfer, assisted hatching, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and in
vitro fertilization. The clinic also offers embryo cryopreservation for future
transfers and semen cryopreservaton for patients wanting to preserve their
fertility prior to a vasectomy or radiation and chemotherapy treatment.

Oncology
Oncology Services are available through the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic (VLCC)
at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. The team at the VLCC provides patients with
comprehensive cancer care in a truly high-tech, high-touch environment. By
providing innovative cancer care close to home and direct access to the national
clinical studies and drug trials, the VLCC brings real hope to the patients and
communities we serve.
Treatments and Technology
The VLCC offers many clear advantages. Diagnostic and surgical procedures, such
as stereotactic radiosurgery, can be performed at the VLCC and is complemented
by services through our sister medical center in Milwaukee, Aurora St. Luke’s
Medical Center.
