  • Breast cancer aquatics program is designed for breast cancer survivors at any point of their recovery. It focuses on cardiovascular, range of motion, stretching and posture in our therapeutic pool.
  • Therapeutic water works is a warm-water class for those who want to get back to normal activity and/or remain active, but have aches and pains that often make it uncomfortable to do more traditional exercise. Movement will focus on the thorough warm up of all joints and muscles, working through full range of motion and gentle strength work. Those with arthritis, mild to moderate joint or muscle pain, or in need of lower-impact exercise will benefit from this class.
  • Therapeutic yoga is designed to improve the health and function of the spine and hips. By using proven stretching techniques, proper breathing and individual focus, results are seen in improved flexibility, strength and a reduction in back pain. Several pose variations will be used as needed to accommodate all levels of participants.
  • Therapeutic core connection focuses on injury prevention, optimal spinal alignment and low-back support. Emphasis will be on proper sequencing and engagement for the core in supported positions with progressions to less supported positions. Flexibility of the hips and spine will also be integrated to provide a well-balanced program to enhance back and spine health.
  • Arthritis self-help course is an educational program designed to help participants take an active role in managing their arthritis. Participants in this program meet once a week for six weeks.
