Todd Bruss, MS, LAT, CGFI, CSCS
Todd grew up in Denmark, Wisconsin. Todd graduated from the
University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. While at La Crosse, Todd was a long
and triple jumper on the Track & Field team. He received his Masters
degree from Illinois State University. Todd is married with a daughter,
Emily. Todd began working at Aurora in 2001 and helped begin Athletic
Republic in
2002. He is also the founder of the Whole in One Golf Program and became
certified through the Titleist Performance Institute in 2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I have been involved with Athletic Republic since 1996. Currently,
I am the long and triple jump coach at St. Norbert College and a board
member of the Phoenix Fund at the UWGB.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I like the challenge of assisting athlete’s of all ages and skill
levels in reaching their optimal potential. The networks that are
associated with the programs and the ability to give something back to
others.”

EeeLN Buckarma, LAT, EMT, CMT
EeeLN grew up in Kewanee, WI. She graduated from Northern Michigan
University with a bachelor’s in athletic training; EeeLN also received a
degree from Auburn University in human biology. She was a graduate
assistant at Northern Michigan University and worked at Auburn
University Rehab Associates. EeeLN is currently the head athletic
trainer at Denmark High School. Also, her duties include the physician
extender program with Dr. Henry. EeeLN has been with the Sports Medicine
Department since September of 2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“My goal is to become a doctor and start medical school in the fall of
2008.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I enjoy the one on one attention with the participants and watching
them grow into athletes.”

Staci Hager, MS, LAT
Staci grew up in Rugby, ND. She graduated with an athletic training
degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Staci received her
Masters in Exercise and Sports Science – Human Performance at UW-La
Crosse. At UW-La Crosse she was a Graduate Assistant for the Athletic
Training Department. Staci has been the Sports Medicine department since
May 2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I went through Athletic Republic three times, twice in high school and once in
college. I hold a Cheetah Club record for 19.5 mph.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“Seeing the athletes improve and the environment.”

Dan Herms
Dan grew up in Green Bay, WI. He attended UW-Whitewater and graduated
in May 2007 with a degree in health education, human performance and
recreation. While receiving his bachelors at UW-Whitewater, Dan long
jumped for the track and field team. He previously worked as a sports
performance coach in Hartland, WI. Dan joined the Sports Medicine
department in June 2007.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I was an All-American NCAA Long Jumper and a VSTCA Academic
All-American while at UW-Whitewater.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I enjoy the opportunity to help people set and reach personal goals in
their athletic and everyday endeavors.”

Corey Kunzer, MS, LAT, PT, CSCS
Corey grew up in Rothschild, Wisconsin. He received his Athletic
Training degree from UW-Madison and then went on to receive a Masters in
Physical Therapy. Corey’s proudest moment is when he graduated from
Rothschild Elementary with honors. In his free time Corey enjoys
cycling, sailing and windsurfing. He has been with the Sports Medicine
department since February 2006.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“Being able to work with and help athletes of all ages reach their
personal goals. I also enjoy the patient education and preventing future
injuries.”

Brian McWilliams, MS, LAT, CSCS
Brian grew up in Cuba City, Wisconsin where he was a four-sport
athlete. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison and then went
on to receive his Masters from Oklahoma State University. He served on
the Sports Medicine Staff for the 2006 Winter Olympics. Brian continues
to work with the US Olympic Curling Team. He is married with a son and
daughter, Ethan and Mikayla. Brian helped begin Athletic Republic Sports Training in 2002.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I completed my first Ironman in September 2006.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I enjoy working with kids and adults. I always have enjoyed the
training concept to help people improve. I like the science behind the
program.”

Lori Ann (Keisic) Mirwald, PT
Lori grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She graduated from Wayne
State University with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2002. Lori is
married and they live in Green Bay with their yellow lab, Sandie. Lori
has worked with the Physical Therapy department since June of 2002 and
began working with the Whole in One Golf Program in January 2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I was a Feature Twirler with the Detroit Lions for five years.”
What do you like best about the Whole in Golf Program?
“Helping athletes and golfers of all ages become better through
education, training, and positive reinforcement.”

Jonathon Rosploch, PT
Personal Info Jonathon grew up in Plymouth, WI. He attended Marquette
University where he received his bachelors in human biology and a
doctorate in physical therapy. While at Marquette, Jonathon participated
in track and field for four years and later become an assistant student
throwing coach. He has been with the Sports Medicine Department since
June 2007.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I threw shot put, discus and javelin.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I enjoy working with the dedicated athletic patient population in
sports rehab and watching them return to athletics.”

Dave Stahlke, MS, LAT, CSCS
Dave grew up in Waconia, Minnesota. He attended Mankato State and
then went on to Illinois State to receive a Masters degree in Athletic
Training. Dave is married and has two sons, Brock and Kaden. Some of his
previous jobs have been with the Colorado Gold Kings minor pro hockey
team, US Olympic Center, Duke University, and the Montreal Expos. Dave
is the head Athletic Trainer for the Green Bay Gamblers and works in
Athletic Republic during the summer months. Dave has been with the Sports
Medicine department since 2002.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“Working with the athletes.”

Terry Rehm, LAT, CSCS
Terry grew up in Albany, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University
of Wisconsin – Green Bay with an Exercise Physiology degree. Terry went
on to Arkansas State University where he completed his Masters. Some of
Terry’s previous jobs have been at Arkansas Sate University and
Cleveland State University. He currently is the Athletic Trainer for the
men’s soccer and softball teams at UWGB, and works in Athletic Republic in the
summer months. Terry has been the Sports Medicine department since 2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I like mountain biking and scuba diving.”
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I like finding new ways to challenge the athletes to make them better.”

Annie Schmidt, PT, CSCS
Annie grew up in Waterford, Wisconsin. Annie received a Human Biology
degree and her Masters in Physical Therapy from Marquette University.
While receiving her Bachelors at Marquette, Annie threw shot put for
their track and field team. She completed her Doctorate at Chatham
College. Annie previously worked at Aurora Sinai Medical Center and at
Aurora Medical Center Oshkosh as a Physical Therapist. She married Ben
in August of 2006 and they currently reside in New London. She began
working here in May 2005.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I enjoy encouraging young athletes to work hard and to learn new
skills. I love seeing athletes accomplish what they never dreamed they
could do.”

Amy Schoenberger, RD, CD
Amy grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Stout with a
BS Science degree in Dietetics in 2002. Amy was a dietitian at St.
Mary’s Hospital and coordinated the nutrition program at the YWCA in
Kimberly. She lives with her polydactyl cat, Alfie, who has seven toes.
Amy began working at Aurora in June 2004, and started with the Athletic
Republic
and Whole in One Programs in 2005.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“It allows me to use my nutrition passion and knowledge to help other
athletes improve their dietary habits and sport performances.”

Jason Hogue
Jason grew up in Plymouth, Wisconsin. He graduated from the
University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in Business Management. In 2006
Jason became a PGA Professional Golf Management graduate. He has worked
at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club, Quit Qui Oc Golf Club, and Bent
Pine Golf Club. Jason currently is the First Assistant Golf Professional
at Oneida Golf and Country Club. He has been with us since September
2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“My high school golf team qualified for state.”
What do you like best about the Whole in One Golf Program?
“It has given me a better idea of how all the muscles work together in
the golf swing.”

Lucas Hana
Lucas grew up in Medford, Wisconsin. He graduated from New Mexico
State University with a Professional Golf Management degree. Lucas has
been a First Assistant Golf Professional at Green Bay Country Club since
2001. He also is the head women’s golf coach at UWGB. In 2005, he was
named Assistant Golf Professional of the year for the Wisconsin PGA
Section. Lucas has been with our department since September 2006.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I have completed nine marathons.”
What do you like best about the Whole In One Golf Program?
“It fulfills a lifelong dream of mine to help people play better golf.”

Josh Korn
Josh grew up in Thorp, Wisconsin. He graduated from UW-Green Bay with
a Human Biology degree with an emphasis in Exercise Science and
Psychology. Also, while Josh was at UWGB, he attained a coaching
certificate. He was on the Cross Country Ski team, and still remains
very active in the sport participating in races almost every weekend in
the winter. Josh has been with our department since October of 2006.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I love pushing people to their max and seeing them improve.”

Ashley (Boylan) Verbeten
Ashley grew up in Wrightstown, Wisconsin. She currently attends UW-La
Crosse to attain a Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation and plans
to attend graduate school next year for Physical Therapy. Also, Ashley
was on the Volleyball team for four years at UW-La Crosse, in which her
team went to the elite eight two of those years. She lives in La Crosse
during the school year with her husband and works with Athletic Republic in the
summer months. Ashley has been with our department since May of 2004.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“It was successful for me to reach my full potential and now I can help
others make the same improvements that I saw in myself.”

Meaghan Durkin
Meaghan grew up in Green Bay for most of her life. She attended UW –
Eau Claire for three years and is now finishing her degree at Lakeland
College. Meaghan will be receiving a degree in Business Management and
Marketing. She lives with her daughter, Gracie, in De Pere. Meaghan has
been with the Sports Medicine department since April of 2004. What
do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I like how each program is specific to the individual.” |

Milton Leganchuk, LAT, MS
Milton grew up in Elphinstone, Manitoba (Canada). He attended the
University of Mary-Bismarck, ND and received an Athletic Training
degree. Milton then went on to attain his Masters in Human Performance
from UW-La Crosse. He was the head Athletic Trainer at Lakeland College
for four years. Milton is married and has a little boy, Alexi. He has
been with our team since October 2005.
Anything people might not know about you:
“I am a huge hockey fan.” What do you like best about Athletic
Republic?
“I like helping athletes maximize their potential.”

Angie Miller
Angie grew up in Reedsville, Wisconsin. She attended Lakeshore
Technical College and has her Associate degree in Administrative
Assistant-Desktop Publishing. Angie previously was the scheduler at the
Manitowoc Clinic-South. She is married and has twin 9-year-old girls,
Megan and Samantha. Angie has been part of our team since November 2005.
What do you like best about Athletic Republic?
“I like the variety of the job. I enjoy getting to meet all of the
athletes that participate in Athletic Republic.”
