Below are some common sleep disorders along with common treatment options.
A common non-invasive treatment like Continuous Airway Pressure (CPAP), a breathing device that uses a facemask covering your nose or mouth and nose or a Mandibular Repositioning Device (an oral mouthpiece), are often used to treat sleep apnea. Lifestyle modification is also often helpful in overcoming sleep apnea. In some cases, surgery may be necessary.
Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
Medications and an iron replacement can be helpful in alleviate the symptoms of restless legs.
Often, a combination of behavioral approaches and medications help reduce the severity of symptoms associated with insomnia.
