Wound care program
More than 2.5 million Americans suffer from a variety of wounds, with an
annual cost of up to $3.5 billion.
Successful wound care is an integral part of physical healing, allowing the
patient to lead a full and productive life. Rehabilitation professionals play an
important role in wound care by expediting healing, restoring normal function,
and educating the patient and families on wound prevention.
Experienced staff
ABMC’s physical and occupational therapists, along with a Board Certified
Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nurse, have participated in post-degree training in
wound care management, which allows them to use state-of-the-art treatment
strategies and techniques.
