When others think there is no hope.
We think differently.
Sue's story
For 12 years Sue suffered from extreme facial pain caused by trigeminal
neuralgia. Her pain was so severe that it not only threatened her career as a nurse, but also
made eating, drinking and even walking unbearable.
Fortunately for Sue, relief was close to home at Aurora BayCare Medical
Center – a comprehensive neuroscience center. Her neurosurgeon recommended
stereotatic radiosurgery, a non-invasive treatment. This advanced procedure not
only relieved her of the excruciating pain, but it gave her a new perspective on
life – never lose hope.
Angie's story
When Angie began to lose her vision in one eye and experience numbness in her
foot, it became difficult for her to function, much less continue working as a
photo stylist.
Angie was glad that expert care was close to home at Aurora BayCare
Medical Center – northeastern Wisconsin’s only integrated Multiple Sclerosis
Clinic. After diagnosing the condition as optic neuritis and discovering Angie
had MS, her neurologist prescribed medications to treat her symptoms and slow
the development of additional symptoms. This advanced care not only gave her
relief, but it gave her a new perspective – MS doesn’t have to change your life.
