NeuroCare Brain & Spine Center™ - Epilepsy Center
Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological diseases in the United States
affecting about 3 million Americans. It’s a costly disease resulting in an
estimated $15.5 billion in medical costs and lost or reduced earnings and
production every year.
People of all ages are affected, but particularly the very young and the
elderly. About 10% of Americans will experience a seizure sometime during their
lifetime.
Aurora BayCare Medical Center’s epilepsy program evaluates patients who might
benefit from an in-depth assessment of their seizure type through epilepsy
monitoring and/or from surgical treatment.
