nearly 70 years of experience with leading edge medical technology to create
a unique treatment plan for patients. Our experts have experience in:
- Resection of brain tumors and vascular abnormalities of the brain
- Intracranial chemotherapy for malignant tumors
- Intracranial radiation for malignant tumors
- Image-guided, frameless surgical procedure
- Shunt treatment of hydrocephalus / Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus,
including programmable valve placement
- Vagal Nerve Stimulation for epilepsy and depression
- Deep Brain Stimulation for treatment of Parkinson's disease and
Essential Tremor
- Endoscopic-assisted procedures
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Stereotactic radiosurgery treats brain
disorders with a precise delivery of a single, high dose of radiation in
a one-day session. Focused radiation beams are delivered to a specific
area of the brain to treat abnormalities, tumors or functional disorders
Stereotactic radiosurgery works the same as all other forms of radiation
treatment. It does not remove the tumor or lesion, but it distorts the
DNA of the tumor cells. The cells then lose their ability to reproduce
and retain fluids
- Management of traumatic brain injuries
- Brain pressure monitoring
- Medically induced coma
