Occupational Rehabilitation

According to the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, ergonomics programs effectively reduce annual lost days from muscular-skeletal disorders by an average of 74 percent – with similar reductions in workers' compensation costs.

Aurora's Occupational Rehabilitation program provides rehabilitation and preventive services to clients in various work settings. Our program is designed to assist injured workers in returning safely back to work and to provide objective information about a client's physical and functional capabilities

  • Rehabilitation to address acute care to return-to-work goals (ex. work conditioning)

  • Pre-placement/post-offer functional testing
  • Educational programs: ergonomics, back school, stretching and cumulative trauma prevention
