All of our patients are seen by a board-certified emergency medicine physician who is backed by all the technology and services of Aurora BayCare Medical Center. They provide complete care for everything from minor illnesses and accidents to major, life-threatening conditions and have immediate access to highly accomplished trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons and cardiologists. In fact, all the inpatient or outpatient care you need is right here.

Our Emergency Department offers:

  • Over twenty experienced physicians, board-certified in emergency medicine
  • Comprehensive 24-hour medical care - from minor illnesses to life-threatening situations
  • ACS Level II Trauma verification by the American College of Surgeons, the highest level available in a non-university setting
  • Coverage by the area's only group of all board-certified neurosurgeons provided through the NeuroCare Brain and Spine Center, working together with specialists in neurology, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, and chiropractic care
  • Access to a full range of on-site services including cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, orthopedic, pain management, laboratory and digital diagnostics
  • Two state-of-the-art trauma suites, one dedicated to pediatric resuscitation and care
  • A modern facility designed with input from physicians, paramedics, and local officials
  • Drive-through ambulance bays that can accommodate up to four ambulances at a time
  • A ground-level heliport directly adjacent to the emergency department and trauma suites
  • An OB/GYN treatment room with private bathrooms and bedside ultrasound equipment for female patients with obstetrical or gynecological problems
